The “Herdade do Rocim” Clay Aged is a genuine wine produced in accordance with the know-how and passion of generations who have always had the greatest respect and fondness for the land. Produced from Alicante Bouschet, Petit Verdot, Trincadeira and Tannat varieties. Foot trodden in a traditional stone open fermenter (lagar) with indigenous yeasts.
Awards
With two thousand years of tradition in Alentejo, the wine made in these large wine pots is still produced following the process of the Roman villae. With this wine, Herdade do Rocim pays tribute to the ancient tradition of vine growing and wine.
