Come and learn about the traditions of  Talha wines, a unique winemaking inherited from a thousand-year-old winemaking culture in the Alentejo wine region, with a special focus on Vidigueira.

Boasting two thousand years of tradition in the Alentejo, Talha wine is still being produced according to the winemaking techniques used on old Roman farms.

This journey through history begins with a tour of the birthplace of Talha wine, the Roman ruins of  S. Cucufate, and ends in the traditional Herdade do Rocim Talha winery.

Guided tours of the winery are held from Mondays to Saturdays, from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., the last tour starts at 6 p.m.
